Ch-2 Ordinary Days

Anjali's Pov:-

There is something strange about ordinary days.

You live them without realizing they are quietly becoming memories.

Life in Jeypore was simple.

A rented house.

Three roommates.

History books stacked on every available surface.

And responsibilities that began long before the sun fully rose.

Unlike most students, I couldn't afford to spend my mornings sleeping.

My day started early.

Very early.

Before classes.

Before the noise of the streets.

Before the city was fully awake.

There was cooking to do.

Breakfast to prepare.

Lunch to pack.

And somehow, in between all of that, I still had to be a student.

At twenty, life was a strange mixture of independence and homesickness.

I missed my parents.

I missed my hometown.

But I was also learning how to build a life of my own.

Most evenings ended with history notes spread across the bed and a cup of black coffee sitting beside me.

The future felt uncertain.

Yet I kept moving forward.

One assignment.

One semester.

One dream at a time.

It was an ordinary life.

Peaceful.

Predictable.

Safe.

And maybe that was why I never noticed destiny approaching.

Because sometimes the biggest changes don't announce themselves.

They simply arrive.

Quietly.

And then nothing remains the same.
